4th Brainstrust Cup – Bridgend FootGolf, Scotland

The 4th edition of the Brainstrust Cup returned to Scotland, with Bridgend FootGolf playing host to an exciting weekend of competition.

​

Round 1 – Individual Matches
England made a strong start across all categories, edging into a slender lead going into the afternoon.

​

Round 2 – Pairs
The home side rallied superbly, with Scotland overturning the deficit to take a 1.5-point advantage into the final day.

​

Round 3 – Strokeplay
With both England and Scotland already guaranteed their spots in the final, the pressure eased. Scotland, however, finished qualifying on top with a 2.5-point cushion.

​

The Final – England vs Scotland
For the fourth consecutive year, England and Scotland met in the final—and once again it went down to the wire. In a tense battle, it was England’s captain Karl Baker-May who clinched the decisive 10th point to secure victory and spark jubilant celebrations.

​

Alongside the action on the course, the hosts ran a charity raffle, raising £505 in aid of the Brainstrust charity.

​
